This is good for light rains. It is in effective with a heavy rain. It makes a nice flow for dripping rain. I’m not sure they can totally replace a rain gutter like some of the YouTube videos suggest.The Antique Copper Rain Chain we bought looks nice and seems like a quality product. There is more to having a rain chain than the product itself. Connecting the chain to the drainage system in an attractive manner was a bit of a challenge. All of the logistics of putting a rain chain to use, needs to be considered when purchasing one. The one item we have consistently where we live.....is rain!I wasn't sure how heavy duty this chain would be or how long exactly. Other items that were similar varied in length and it was difficult to know the gauge of the links. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up the package. The chain is beautiful. Plenty long, durable, hangs nicely. I may buy another one for the front of the house. It looks fantastic when the rain runs down it.WOW these are terrific. They look great when not in use, much better than old drainspout hanging there spoiling the view and look of our porch. When it is raining it is awesome... love watching the rain pour down the chain. Really love these much better than I thought I would.After receiving the wrong chain, I received the correct one. It goes into our rain barrel, functioning very well and looks really beautiful. The quality was very good and it was easy to install in the metal guttering. We didn't have a downspout hole for it so cut a kind of asterisk in the bottom of the gutter and it works well that way.We are having lots of rain so are able to see rain chains in action. They are unique, longer than most - 8-1/2 ft. vs 6 ft. - and very reasonably priced. Thoroughly pleased. Fast shipping as well since I am a Prime member. A worthwhile investment.We purchased two sets of this rain chain. They look great and are working well.These were very easy to install and are lovely to look at. We have had many inquires about them and how others could order them.
